I have recently moved to Perth, Western Australia where I previously lived for 3 years.
I am excited to offer in person Yi Chuan training to my current students and new students who are interested in:
- Getting more out of their standing (Jam Jong / Chigung) practice. The vast majority of people who have committed to standing practices are missing critical information and therefore many of the key benefits of standing.
- Understanding integrated strength. Also known as oneness strength, hunyan li, internal strength, etc., integrated strength comes from utilizing the connective tissues of the body to create a kind of force that is different than regular strength.
- Strengthening internal energy. Yi Chuan practice is Chi Gung or energy work itself. Based on ancient methods of changing the tendons and washing the marrow it helps practitioners become stronger and healthier.
- Unlocking the potential in their art. Most of my students are long time practitioners of other martial arts, including Tai Chi, Akido, Jusjitsu, Karate, Bagua and others. Applying integrated strength principals to their art simply opens up new possibilities.
